Receiving Order Labels

When your system is configured to use receiving order labels (see "Receiving Order Label Settings"), a putaway receiving label may be printed when an item is received as part of a receiving order. The label is printed from a network printer.

  1. The label is printed for an item when the item is received IF the system is configured to print receiving labels.
  2. After the item is validated at the Receiving form, the user enters the item details such as Quantity, Unit of Measure, and Serial Number, Lot, or Expiration Date as applicable. and a label quantity in the Print Label Count field.

  1. The Print Label Count field is displayed ONLY if the Print Receiving Labels option is turned on at the User Preferences form (see "Receiving Order Label Settings").

    1. The label count defaults to the ordered quantity for the received line item.

    2. You may enter a 0 or a blank in this field to skip label printing.

    3. The label count entered will indicate the amount of labels that are printed for this line item after it is received.

  1. When the Submit button is pressed, the receiving line item transaction is submitted.

  1. Upon successful submission, the app will print the receiving label to a network label printer per the settings at the User Preferences form (see "Receiving Order Label Settings").

  1. The following fields are placed on the receiving labels:

    1. Item Description

    2. Item Number

    3. Item Unit of Measure

    4. Putaway Location
